Het systeem is ontworpen voor taken zoals het waarborgen van de werking van de technische ondersteuningsdienst (helpdesk), het beheren van reactie op klantvragen (telefoongesprekken, e-mail), co\u00f6rdinatie van de levering van bedrijfs-IT-diensten, en het beheer van aanvragen in verkoop- en financi\u00eble diensten. De code van OTOBO is geschreven in Perl en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/RotherOSS\/otobo\">wordt verspreid<\/a><\/noindex> onder GPLv3-licentie.<\/p>\n<p>Stefan Rother, momenteel oprichter en managing director van Rother OSS, trad in 2004 toe tot OTRS GmbH (nu OTRS AG). In 2011 richtte hij zijn eigen bedrijf Rother OSS op. Tegen 2019 richtte Rother OSS zich op het aanbieden van zakelijke diensten met betrekking tot OTRS-oplossingen op basis van open source. In reactie op de gewijzigde uitgavestrategie van OTRS AG en de vertraging bij de release van nieuwe versies van de OTRS Community Edition, begon Rother OSS met de ontwikkeling van het ticketsysteem OTOBO (Open Ticket Ours Based OTRS) op basis van OTRS versie 6. Het businessconcept van OTOBO is gericht op het ondersteunen van zakelijke gebruikers, hen te adviseren en op te leiden. Ontwikkelingen die door klanten zijn besteld en nuttig zijn voor een breder gebruikerspubliek, worden gepland om in de oorspronkelijke code te worden teruggebracht. <\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste wijzigingen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Bijgewerkt <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/otobo.de\/en\/otobo-features\/kundenportal\/\">klantenportaal<\/a><\/noindex>;\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/otobo.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Mockup-Dashboard-V1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Release van het ticket-systeem OTOBO, een fork van OTRS.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/60e04add12b9c2b13d9f1be2339289c2.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Formulieren zijn geoptimaliseerd, ondersteuning voor meervoudige invoervelden is toegevoegd;\n<li class=\"l\"> Snelle zoekfunctionaliteit is ge\u00efmplementeerd op basis van Elasticsearch;\n<li class=\"l\"> Er is ondersteuning toegevoegd voor multifactor-authenticatie, bescherming tegen wachtwoordgissingen en uitgebreide middelen voor het toewijzen van beleidsregels voor wachtwoorden;\n<li class=\"l\"> is er een experimentele mogelijkheid voor het gebruik van POSIX ACL en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/RotherOSS\/otobo-docker\">integratie<\/a><\/noindex> met Docker.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ook is er een migratietool ontwikkeld die de overgang van OTRS CE 6 naar OTOBO mogelijk maakt. Voor installatie <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/otobo.de\/en\/otobo-download\/\">beschikbaar is<\/a><\/noindex> zijn zowel installatiepakketten als Docker-images beschikbaar. Hostingdiensten worden ook aangeboden.
