De distributie ontwikkelt zich met het oog op Arch Linux, maar ondersteunt een eigen onafhankelijke repository met ongeveer 1500 pakketten. Builds <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/kaosx\/files\/ISO\/KaOS-2020.07-x86_64.iso\">worden gepubliceerd<\/a><\/noindex> voor x86_64 systemen (2,3 GB).\n<p>Deze nieuwe uitgave biedt de KDE Plasma 5.19.3 desktop, KDE Applications 20.04.3, Qt 5.15.0, Mesa 20.1.3, NetworkManager 1.26.0, de Linux-kernel 5.7.8, enz. De basislevering bevat de afbeeldingseditor <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/photoflare.io\/\">Photoflare<\/a><\/noindex>, de muziekspeler <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/vvave.kde.org\/\">VVave<\/a><\/noindex> en de Kdiff3-hulpprogramma. Het thema is gemoderniseerd. Ondersteuning voor het opstartthema op basis van de systemd-bootloader is toegevoegd. De distributie is ontwikkeld door een ontwikkelaar uit Pakistan (met een tweede ontwikkelaar uit Polen), wordt geleverd met GNOME en is gericht op maximaal vereenvoudigen van de installatie, configuratie en werking in het systeem. De grootte van de installatiedisc is \u2014 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/laxeros\/files\/latest\/download\">1,8 GB<\/a><\/noindex>.
