Deze vraag komt vroeg of laat bij collega's op die Lotus gebruiken als e-mailclient of documentbeheer systeem. Een verzoek om migratie kan (op basis van onze ervaring) op verschillende niveaus binnen de organisatie ontstaan: van topmanagement tot gebruikers (vooral als er veel zijn). Hier zijn enkele redenen waarom migratie van Lotus naar Exchange geen eenvoudige taak is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Het RTF-formaat van IBM Notes is niet compatibel met het RTF-formaat van Exchange;<\/li>\n<li>IBM Notes gebruikt SMTP-formaat adressen alleen voor externe e-mails, Exchange voor alles;<\/li>\n<li>De noodzaak om delegaties te behouden;<\/li>\n<li>De noodzaak om metadata te behouden;<\/li>\n<li>Een deel van de e-mails kan versleuteld zijn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nEn als Exchange al bestaat, maar Lotus nog steeds wordt gebruikt, ontstaan er co-existentieproblemen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De noodzaak om scripts of externe systemen te gebruiken voor het synchroniseren van adressen tussen Domino en Exchange;<\/li>\n<li>Domino gebruikt platte tekst voor het verzenden van e-mails naar andere e-mail systemen;<\/li>\n<li>Domino gebruikt het iCalendar-formaat voor het verzenden van uitnodigingen naar andere e-mail systemen;<\/li>\n<li>Onmogelijk om Free-Busy verzoeken en gezamenlijke reserveringen van middelen te maken (zonder het gebruik van externe oplossingen).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nIn dit artikel bespreken we de gespecialiseerde softwareproducten van Quest voor migratie en co-existentie: <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gals.software\/vendors\/quest\/migrator-lotus-exchange\">Migrator for Notes to Exchange<\/a><\/noindex> en <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gals.software\/vendors\/quest\/coexistence-manager-for-notes\">Coexistence Manager for Notes<\/a><\/noindex> tenzij. Aan het einde van het artikel vindt u een link naar de pagina waar u een aanvraag kunt indienen voor een gratis testmigratie van meerdere postvakken om de eenvoud van het proces te demonstreren. En hieronder staat een stapsgewijze migratie-algoritme en andere details over het migratieproces. <br \/>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\nAls we de migratiebenaderingen onderscheiden, kunnen we veronderstellen dat er drie hoofdtypen zijn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Overgang zonder migratie.<\/b> Gebruikers krijgen lege postvakken, de oorspronkelijke e-mailservice blijft in de modus 'alleen-lezen' werken.<\/li>\n<li><b>Migratie met co-existentie.<\/b> Er wordt integratie ingesteld tussen de oorspronkelijke en doel systemen, waarna de gegevens van de postvakken gefaseerd naar het nieuwe systeem worden overgebracht.<\/li>\n<li><b>Migratie in offline modus.<\/b> Het oorspronkelijke systeem wordt uitgeschakeld, de gegevens van alle gebruikers worden overgebracht naar het nieuwe systeem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nHieronder bespreken we migratie in offline modus en migratie met co-existentie. Voor deze processen, zoals eerder genoemd, zijn er twee producten van Quest verantwoordelijk: Coexistence Manager for Notes en Migrator for Notes to Exchange.<\/p>\n<h1>Coexistence Manager for Notes (CMN)<\/h1>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/97808a00bbbc3a3221a8b633df85837d.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nDeze oplossing biedt bidirectionele synchronisatie van LDAP-geluiden, cre\u00ebert contacten voor e-mailobjecten (postbussen, lijsten, mailings, middelen) uit het bronsysteem. Er is een mogelijkheid voor aangepaste attributenmapping en real-time datatransformatie. U krijgt identieke adressenboeken in Lotus en Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>CMN zorgt ook voor SMTP-verbindingen tussen infrastructuren: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beheert e-mails in real-time;<\/li>\n<li>Zet om in het juiste RTF-formaat;<\/li>\n<li>Verwerkt DocLinks;<\/li>\n<li>Pakt Notes-gegevens in NSF;<\/li>\n<li>Verwerkt uitnodigingen en verzoeken om bronnen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nCMN kan worden gebruikt in cluster modus voor redundantie en prestatieverbetering. Dit zorgt voor behoud van e-mailopmaak, ondersteuning van complexe schema's en aanvragen om middelen tussen e-mailsystemen.<\/p>\n<p>Een andere belangrijke functie van CMN is de emulatie van Free-Busy. Hierdoor hoeven collega's niet te weten wie welke e-maildienst gebruikt: Lotus of Exchange. De emulatie stelt de e-mailclient in staat om beschikbaarheidsdata van een gebruiker uit een ander e-mailsysteem op te vragen. In plaats van datagegevens synchronisatie, worden aanvragen tussen systemen in real-time doorgestuurd. Hierdoor kan Free-Busy zelfs na de migratie van een deel van de gebruikers worden gebruikt.<\/p>\n<h1>Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE)<\/h1>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/2a8505301c6cedb42f3993fadd8f9200.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nDit hulpmiddel voert directe migratie uit. Het migratieproces kan ruwweg worden onderverdeeld in verschillende fasen: pre-migratie, migratie en post-migratie.<\/p>\n<h3>Pre-migratie<\/h3>\n<p>\nIn deze fase wordt de analyse van de bronnethstructuur uitgevoerd: domeinen, adressen, groepen, enz., worden migratiepostbuscollecties, accounts en het samenvoegen van contacten met een AD-account gemaakt.<\/p>\n<h3>Migratie<\/h3>\n<p>\nBij de migratie worden de gegevens van de postbussen in meerdere streams gekopieerd met behoud van ACL's en metadata. Groepen worden ook gemigreerd. Indien nodig kan een delta-migratie worden gedaan als het om welke reden dan ook niet in \u00e9\u00e9n keer lukt. MNE beheert ook de e-mailomleiding. De hele migratie vindt plaats met de snelheid van de netwerkaansluiting, dus het hebben van de Lotus- en Exchange-omgeving in dezelfde datacenter biedt een groot snelheidsvoordeel.<\/p>\n<h3>Post-migratie<\/h3>\n<p>\nIn de post-migratiefase vindt de migratie van lokale\/gecodeerde gegevens plaats via self-service. Dit is een speciale tool die berichten decodeert. Bij een herhaalde delta-migratie worden deze berichten naar Exchange verzonden.<\/p>\n<p>Een andere optionele migratiefase is de migratie van applicaties. Hiervoor heeft Quest een gespecialiseerd product \u2014 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gals.software\/vendors\/quest\/migrator-notes-sharepoint\">Migrator for Notes to Sharepoint<\/a><\/noindex>. In een apart artikel zullen we de werking ervan bespreken.<\/p>\n<h3>Een stapsgewijs voorbeeld van de migratieprocedure met behulp van MNE- en CMN-oplossingen<\/h3>\n<p>\n<b>Stap 1.<\/b> Voer de AD-upgrade uit met behulp van Coexistence Manager. Haal gegevens uit de Domino-catalogus en maak gebruikersaccounts (contacten) aan met ingeschakelde e-mailondersteuning in Active Directory. De postvakken van gebruikers in Exchange zijn op dit moment nog niet aangemaakt. De gebruikersrecords in AD bevatten de huidige adressen van gebruikers in Notes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/4a3287c260e5485344008bccf588e6aa.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Stap 2.<\/b> Exchange kan berichten naar de postvakken van gebruikers in Notes omleiden zodra de MX-record is gewijzigd. Dit is een tijdelijke oplossing om inkomende e-mail naar Exchange om te leiden totdat de eerste gebruikers zijn gemigreerd.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/5708b250aa6925c5735573a362e44805.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Stap 3.<\/b> De data-overdracht wizard Migrator for Notes to Exchange voegt de AD-accounts van de migrerende gebruikers toe en stelt de regels voor e-maildoorsturing in Notes in, zodat e-mail gericht aan de Notes-adressen van reeds gemigreerde gebruikers wordt omgeleid naar hun actieve postvakken in Exchange.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/67efda3339dc851a07f7036c1d1d1c34.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Stap 4.<\/b> Dit proces herhaalt zich bij de overgang van elke gebruikersgroep naar de nieuwe server.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/b0b429be87e2295182c16fbd1e9a7927.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Stap 5.<\/b> De Domino-server kan worden uitgeschakeld (eigenlijk niet, als er nog applicaties zijn).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Migratie van IBM Lotus Notes\/Domino naar Microsoft Exchange zonder gedoe\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/78d9f8178126d2d70dea9608f57f9135.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De migratie is voltooid, je kunt naar huis gaan en daar de Exchange-client openen.
