Voor het downloaden van <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/download.opensuse.org\/distribution\/jump\/15.2\/iso\/\">voor de kernel voorgesteld<\/a><\/noindex> iso-images van 3,8 GB, voorbereid voor de architecturen x86_64, Aarch64, ppc64le en s390x.<\/p>\n<p>De traditionele distributie van openSUSE is gebaseerd op een basisset van pakketten van SUSE Linux Enterprise, maar de pakketten voor openSUSE Leap worden apart samengesteld uit pakketten met broncode. In openSUSE Jump worden kant-en-klare binaire pakketten van SUSE Linux Enterprise gebruikt. Het is de bedoeling dat het gebruik van dezelfde binaire pakketten in SUSE en openSUSE de migratie van de ene distributie naar de andere vergemakkelijkt, middelen bespaart voor het samenstellen van pakketten, de verspreiding van updates en testen vereenvoudigt, verschillen in spec-bestanden uniform maakt en de diagnose van verschillende pakketversies bij het analyseren van foutmeldingen
