Het menu biedt cascaderende elementen die aan elkaar zijn gekoppeld in afhankelijkheidsketens. Voor download is voorbereid <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/extensions.gnome.org\/extension\/3433\/fly-pie\/\">een extensie<\/a><\/noindex> voor GNOME Shell, ondersteund in GNOME 3.36 en getest op Ubuntu 20.04. Voor een kennismaking met de werkmethoden is er een ingebouwde interactieve handleiding beschikbaar.<\/p>\n<p> Het menu kan een hi\u00ebrarchie van willekeurige diepte hebben. De volgende acties worden ondersteund: een applicatie starten, toetsencombinaties simuleren, tekst invoegen, een URL of bestand openen in een bepaalde applicatie, multimedia-afspeelbeheer en vensterbeheer. De gebruiker navigeert met de muis of het touchscreen van de hoofdelementen naar de uiteindelijke takken (bijvoorbeeld, 'gestarte applicaties -&gt; VLC -&gt; afspelen stoppen').
