Gepubliceerd<\/a><\/noindex> resultaten van de analyse van aanvallen gerelateerd aan het raden van wachtwoorden voor servers via SSH. Tijdens het experiment werden verschillende honeypots opgezet die zich voordeden als beschikbare OpenSSH-servers, geplaatst in verschillende netwerken van cloudproviders zoals
\nGoogle Cloud, DigitalOcean en NameCheap. In drie maanden werden 929554 verbindingspogingen op de server geregistreerd.<\/p>\n

In 78% of cases, the attempt was aimed at determining the password for the root user. The most commonly checked passwords were '123456' and 'password', but among the top ten was also the password 'J5cmmu=Kyf0-br8CsW', likely used by default by some manufacturer.<\/p>\n
