Samba 4 is een multifunctioneel serverproduct dat ook een bestandsserver, printservice en identificatieserver (winbind) biedt.<\/p>\n<p>Belangrijkste <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.samba.org\/samba\/history\/samba-4.13.0.html\">wijzigingen<\/a><\/noindex> in Samba 4.13:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Bescherming tegen kwetsbaarheid <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=53728\">ZeroLogon<\/a><\/noindex> (CVE-2020-1472), waardoor een aanvaller administratorrechten kan verkrijgen op de domeincontroller in systemen die de instelling &#171;server schannel = yes&#187; niet gebruiken.\n<li class=\"l\">  De vereisten voor de minimale versie van Python zijn verhoogd van Python 3.5 naar Python 3.6. De mogelijkheid om de bestandsserver met Python 2 te bouwen blijft behouden (voordat u .\\\/configure&#8217; en &#8216;make&#8217; uitvoert, moet de omgevingsvariabele &#8216;PYTHON=python2&#8217; worden ingesteld), maar in de volgende tak zal deze worden verwijderd en zal Python 3.6 vereist zijn voor de bouw.\n<li class=\"l\"> De functionaliteit &#171;wide links = yes&#187;, die beheerders van de bestandsserver in staat stelt om symbolische links buiten de huidige SMB\\\/CIFS-partitie te maken, is uit smbd gehaald en naar een aparte module &#171;vfs_widelinks&#187; verplaatst. Momenteel wordt deze module automatisch geladen als de instelling &#171;wide links = yes&#187; aanwezig is. In de toekomst is het plan om de ondersteuning voor &#171;wide links = yes&#187; te verwijderen vanwege beveiligingsproblemen, en gebruikers van Samba wordt ten zeerste aangeraden om in plaats van &#171;wide links = yes&#187; over te stappen op het monteren van externe FS-onderdelen met &#171;mount &#8212;bind&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> De ondersteuning voor de klassieke modus van de domeincontroller is als verouderd verklaard. Gebruikers van NT4-achtige domeincontrollers (&#8216;classic&#8217;) wordt aangeraden over te stappen op het gebruik van Samba Active Directory domeincontrollers om compatibiliteit met moderne Windows-klanten te waarborgen.\n<li class=\"l\"> Onveilige authenticatiemethoden die alleen met het SMBv1-protocol kunnen worden gebruikt, zijn als verouderd verklaard: &#171;domain logons&#187;, &#171;raw NTLMv2 auth&#187;, &#171;client plaintext auth&#187;, &#171;client NTLMv2 auth&#187;, &#171;client lanman auth&#187; en &#171;client use spnego&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\">  De ondersteuning van de optie &#171;ldap ssl ads&#187; is verwijderd uit smb.conf.
