Devuan 3.1 is een tussenrelease die de ontwikkeling van de Devuan 3.x tak voortzet, gebouwd op de pakkettenbasis van Debian 10 'Buster'. Builds voor ARM (armel, armhf en arm64) en images voor <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/nl\/vps\/\"   title=\"virtuele machines\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2048\">virtuele machines<\/a> de release 3.1 zijn niet uitgebracht, maar je kunt de Devuan 3.0 builds gebruiken en daarna het systeem bijwerken.<\/p>\n<p>Ongeveer 400 Debian-pakketten zijn afgeleid en aangepast om de afhankelijkheid van systemd te verwijderen, of zijn herbrand en aangepast voor de specifieke infrastructuur van Devuan. Twee pakketten (devuan-baseconf, jenkins-debian-glue-buildenv-devuan) zijn alleen in Devuan aanwezig en zijn verbonden met de configuratie van repositories en de bouwsysteemfunctionaliteit. Verder is Devuan volledig compatibel met Debian en kan het worden gebruikt als basis voor het maken van gespecialiseerde Debian-builds zonder systemd.<\/p>\n<p>Wat is er nieuw?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>In de installer wordt de keuze tussen drie initialisatiesystemen voorgesteld: sysvinit, openrc en runit. In de expertmodus is het mogelijk om een alternatieve bootloader (lilo) te kiezen, evenals het uitschakelen van de installatie van niet-vrije firmware.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Beveiligingspatches van Debian 10 zijn overgenomen. De Linux-kernel is bijgewerkt naar versie 4.19.171.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Een nieuw pakket debian-pulseaudio-config-override is toegevoegd, dat het probleem met het standaard uitschakelen van PulseAudio oplost. Het pakket wordt automatisch ge\u00efnstalleerd bij het kiezen van een desktop in de installer en becommentarieert in \/etc\/pulse\/client.conf.d\/00-disable-autospawn.conf de instelling 'autospawn=no'.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Het probleem met het weergeven van 'Debian' in plaats van 'Devuan' in het opstartmenu is opgelost.
