Kod jest napisany w j\u0119zyku C++ i opublikowany na licencji Apache 2.0.    <\/p>\n<p>OSPRay jest przede wszystkim skierowany do zastosowa\u0144 w interaktywnych aplikacjach do renderowania scen na bie\u017c\u0105co. Do symulacji zachowania \u015bwiat\u0142a stosowana jest metoda \u015bledzenia promieni. Wspierana jest wizualizacja w obj\u0119to\u015bci oraz na p\u0142aszczy\u017anie, fotorealistyczne globalne o\u015bwietlenie z uwzgl\u0119dnieniem fizycznych w\u0142a\u015bciwo\u015bci materia\u0142\u00f3w oraz zaawansowane efekty cieniowania (cienie, przezroczysto\u015b\u0107 i cieniowanie \u201eAmbient occlusion\u201d).    <\/p>\n<p>OSPRay mo\u017ce dzia\u0142a\u0107 bez przypisania do GPU, co pozwala na wykorzystanie biblioteki na szerokim zakresie urz\u0105dze\u0144, od stacji roboczych po w\u0119z\u0142y w klastrach obliczeniowych. Aby zapewni\u0107 odpowiedni\u0105 wydajno\u015b\u0107, aktywnie wykorzystuje wielow\u0105tkowo\u015b\u0107 oraz wektoryzacj\u0119 na podstawie instrukcji SIMD, takich jak Intel SSE4, AVX, AVX2 i AVX-512 (do dzia\u0142ania OSPRay wymagana jest co najmniej obs\u0142uga SSE4.1).     <\/p>\n<p>Renderowanie mo\u017ce by\u0107 rozproszone na kilka w\u0119z\u0142\u00f3w klastra (wsparcie dla MPI), co na przyk\u0142ad pozwala wykorzysta\u0107 OSPRay do organizowania renderowania obrazu o bardzo wysokiej rozdzielczo\u015bci na \u015bcianach wideo, gdzie pojedynczy obraz jest tworzony z zestawu oddzielnych paneli LCD. Na przyk\u0142ad, dzia\u0142anie OSPRay zosta\u0142o zaprezentowane na ekranie sk\u0142adaj\u0105cym si\u0119 z 80 30-calowych monitor\u00f3w (\u0142\u0105czna rozdzielczo\u015b\u0107 40960\u00d78000 lub 328 megapikseli) i obs\u0142ugiwanym przez klaster z\u0142o\u017cony z 40 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/pl\/server\/\"   title=\"serwer\u00f3w\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1698\">serwer\u00f3w<\/a> 6-rdzeniowymi CPU opartymi na mikroarchitekturze Intel Sandy Bridge.     <\/p>\n<p>Wprowadzone zmiany:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Wprowadzono eksperymentaln\u0105 mo\u017cliwo\u015b\u0107 wykorzystania GPU Intel Xe (Intel Arc serii Flex i Max) do sprz\u0119towego przyspieszania \u015bledzenia promieni (w poprzednich wersjach OSPRay \u015bledzenie promieni odbywa\u0142o si\u0119 wy\u0142\u0105cznie na CPU). Wsparcie dla GPU realizowane jest za pomoc\u0105 warstwy SYCL, umo\u017cliwiaj\u0105cej tworzenie heterogenicznych aplikacji w j\u0119zyku C++ (DPC++ \u2014 Data Parallel C++).
