Koszt prostego znalezienia kolizji przy u\u017cyciu ta\u0144szej karty graficznej NVIDIA GTX 970 wyni\u00f3s\u0142 11 tysi\u0119cy dolar\u00f3w, a dla znalezienia kolizji z okre\u015blonym prefiksem \u2014 45 tysi\u0119cy dolar\u00f3w (dla por\u00f3wnania, w 2012 roku koszty znalezienia kolizji w SHA-1 szacowano na 2 miliony dolar\u00f3w, a w 2015 roku \u2014 700 tysi\u0119cy).
