OpenWifi pozwala na stworzenie w pe\u0142ni kontrolowanej implementacji wszystkich komponent\u00f3w urz\u0105dzenia bezprzewodowego, w tym warstw niskopoziomowych, kt\u00f3re w typowych adapterach bezprzewodowych s\u0105 realizowane na poziomie dost\u0119pnych tylko do audytu chip\u00f3w. Kod <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/open-sdr\/openwifi\">komponent\u00f3w oprogramowania<\/a><\/noindex>, a tak\u017ce <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/open-sdr\/openwifi-hw\">schematy<\/a><\/noindex> (Verilog) blok\u00f3w sprz\u0119towych opartych na FPGA s\u0105 rozpowszechniane na licencji AGPLv3.<\/p>\n<p>Sprz\u0119towa cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 zaprezentowanego prototypu opiera si\u0119 na FPGA Xilinx Zynq oraz uniwersalnym nadajniku-odbiorniku (RF) AD9361. W OpenWifi zastosowano architektur\u0119 SoftMAC, kt\u00f3ra zak\u0142ada realizacj\u0119 g\u0142\u00f3wnego stosu bezprzewodowego 802.11 (high-MAC) po stronie sterownika oraz obecno\u015b\u0107 warstwy low-MAC po stronie FPGA. Jako stos bezprzewodowy wykorzystywana jest podsyst\u00e9m mac80211 dostarczany przez j\u0105dro Linux. Do za\u0142adunku przygotowano <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/users.ugent.be\/~xjiao\/\">gotowy obraz<\/a><\/noindex> karty SD oparty na ARM Linux. W planach wsparcie dla zestaw\u00f3w ADRV9364Z7020 SOM + ADRV1CRR-BOB, Xilinx zed + FMCOMMS2\/3\/4, Xilinx ZCU102 + FMCOMMS2\/3\/4 oraz<br \/>\nXilinx ZCU102 + ADRV9371.<\/p>\n<p>Testowanie wydajno\u015bci po\u0142\u0105czenia klienta za pomoc\u0105 adaptera USB TL-WDN4200 N900 do punktu dost\u0119powego opartego na openwifi wykaza\u0142o przepustowo\u015b\u0107 30,6 Mbps (TCP) i 38,8 Mbps (UDP) podczas przesy\u0142ania danych z punktu dost\u0119powego do klienta oraz 17,0 Mbps (TCP) i 21,5 Mbps (UDP) przy przesy\u0142aniu od klienta do punktu dost\u0119powego.
