Al\u00e9m das bibliotecas que implementam o AppKit e os componentes do framework Foundation, o projeto tamb\u00e9m desenvolve ferramentas para design de interface Gorm e um ambiente de desenvolvimento ProjectCenter, voltados para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de an\u00e1logos port\u00e1teis do InterfaceBuilder, ProjectBuilder e Xcode. A principal linguagem de desenvolvimento \u00e9 o Objective-C, mas o GNUstep tamb\u00e9m pode ser usado com outras linguagens. Entre as plataformas suportadas est\u00e3o: macOS, Solaris, GNU\/Linux, GNU\/Hurd, NetBSD, OpenBSD, FreeBSD e Windows. Os desenvolvimentos do projeto s\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos sob a licen\u00e7a LGPLv3.    <\/p>\n<p>As altera\u00e7\u00f5es nas novas vers\u00f5es se concentram principalmente na melhoria da compatibilidade com bibliotecas semelhantes da Apple e na amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do suporte a v\u00e1rias plataformas, incluindo a plataforma Android. A melhoria mais not\u00e1vel para os usu\u00e1rios foi o suporte inicial ao protocolo Wayland.    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> GNUstep Base 1.28.0 \u2014 biblioteca de uso geral que funciona como an\u00e1loga \u00e0 biblioteca Apple Foundation e inclui objetos n\u00e3o relacionados \u00e0 interface gr\u00e1fica, como classes para manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de strings, fluxos, notifica\u00e7\u00f5es, fun\u00e7\u00f5es de rede, tratamento de eventos e acesso a objetos externos.\n<li class=\"l\"> GNUstep GUI Library 0.29.0 \u2014 biblioteca que abrange classes para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de interfaces gr\u00e1ficas de usu\u00e1rio, baseadas na API Apple Cocoa, incluindo classes com implementa\u00e7\u00f5es de v\u00e1rios tipos de bot\u00f5es, listas, campos de entrada, janelas, manipuladores de erros, fun\u00e7\u00f5es para trabalhar com cores e imagens. A GNUstep GUI Library \u00e9 composta por duas partes \u2014 um frontend independente de plataformas e sistemas de janelas e um backend que cont\u00e9m elementos espec\u00edficos para sistemas gr\u00e1ficos.\n<li class=\"l\"> GNUstep GUI Backend 0.29.0 \u2014 conjunto de backends para a GNUstep GUI Library que implementa suporte para X11 e a subsistema gr\u00e1fico do Windows. A principal novidade desta vers\u00e3o \u00e9 o suporte inicial para sistemas gr\u00e1ficos baseados no protocolo Wayland. Al\u00e9m disso, a nova vers\u00e3o melhorou o suporte ao gerenciador de janelas WindowMaker e \u00e0 API Win64.\n<li class=\"l\">  GNUstep Gorm 1.2.28 \u2014 programa para modelagem de interfaces de usu\u00e1rio (Modelador de Rela\u00e7\u00e3o de Objetos Gr\u00e1ficos), que lembra o aplicativo OpenStep\/NeXTSTEP Interface Builder.\n<li class=\"l\"> GNUstep Makefile Package 2.9.0 \u2014 conjunto
