Nos switches Cisco Catalyst da s\u00e9rie PON CGP-ONT-* (Rede \u00d3ptica Passiva), foi identificada uma vulnerabilidade cr\u00edtica de seguran\u00e7a (CVE-2021-34795), que permite, ao ativar o protocolo telnet, conectar-se ao switch com privil\u00e9gios de administrador, utilizando uma conta de depura\u00e7\u00e3o conhecida, deixada pelo fabricante no firmware. O problema ocorre apenas quando a op\u00e7\u00e3o de acesso via telnet \u00e9 ativada nas configura\u00e7\u00f5es, que est\u00e1 desativada por padr\u00e3o. <\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m da conta com uma senha conhecida nos modelos de switches em quest\u00e3o, foram identificadas duas vulnerabilidades (CVE-2021-40112, CVE-2021-40113) na interface web, que permitem a um atacante n\u00e3o autenticado, que n\u00e3o conhece as credenciais de login, executar seus comandos com privil\u00e9gios de root e alterar as configura\u00e7\u00f5es. Por padr\u00e3o, o acesso \u00e0 interface web \u00e9 permitido apenas a partir da rede local, a menos que esse comportamento seja redefinido nas configura\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/p>\n
