Foi lan\u00e7ado o CentOS 2111, que incorpora as altera\u00e7\u00f5es do Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.5. A distribui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 totalmente compat\u00edvel em bin\u00e1rio com o RHEL 8.5. As compila\u00e7\u00f5es do CentOS 2111 foram preparadas (DVD de 8 GB e netboot de 600 MB) para as arquiteturas x86_64, Aarch64 (ARM64) e ppc64le. Os pacotes SRPMS, usados para a constru\u00e7\u00e3o dos arquivos bin\u00e1rios, e os debuginfo est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis atrav\u00e9s do vault.centos.org. <\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m das novas funcionalidades apresentadas no RHEL 8.5, o CentOS 2111 teve o conte\u00fado de 34 pacotes alterado, incluindo anaconda, dhcp, firefox, grub2, httpd, kernel, PackageKit e yum. As altera\u00e7\u00f5es nos pacotes geralmente se resumem a rebranding e mudan\u00e7a de design. Pacotes espec\u00edficos do RHEL, como redhat-*, insights-client e subscription-manager-migration*, foram removidos. O lan\u00e7amento de atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es para o CentOS Linux 8 ser\u00e1 encerrado em 31 de dezembro.
