A biblioteca pode ser utilizada em v\u00e1rios players de v\u00eddeo, entre os quais est\u00e3o xine-ui, gxine, kaffeine.       <\/p>\n<p>O Xine suporta opera\u00e7\u00e3o em modo multithread, lida com uma grande variedade de formatos e codecs populares e pouco conhecidos, e pode processar tanto conte\u00fado local quanto streams multim\u00eddia transmitidos pela rede. A arquitetura modular permite expandir facilmente a funcionalidade por meio de plugins.
