A Google lan\u00e7ou as atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es do Chrome 99.0.4844.74 e 98.0.4758.132 (Extended Stable), nas quais foram corrigidas 11 vulnerabilidades, incluindo uma vulnerabilidade cr\u00edtica (CVE-2022-0971) que permite contornar todos os n\u00edveis de seguran\u00e7a do navegador e executar c\u00f3digo no sistema fora do ambiente de sandbox. Os detalhes ainda n\u00e3o foram divulgados, sabe-se apenas que a vulnerabilidade cr\u00edtica est\u00e1 relacionada ao acesso \u00e0 mem\u00f3ria j\u00e1 liberada (use-after-free) no motor de renderiza\u00e7\u00e3o Blink do navegador. <\/p>\n

Entre as outras vulnerabilidades corrigidas, est\u00e3o os problemas de acesso \u00e0 mem\u00f3ria j\u00e1 liberada no mecanismo de Navega\u00e7\u00e3o Segura, nas API Extensions, no modo de tela dividida, na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da interface do usu\u00e1rio, na p\u00e1gina inicial (Nova Aba) e na camada ANGLE, respons\u00e1vel pela tradu\u00e7\u00e3o de chamadas de OpenGL ES para OpenGL, Direct3D 9\/11, Desktop GL e Vulkan.
