Foram publicadas informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre um m\u00e9todo de phishing que permite criar uma ilus\u00e3o de que o usu\u00e1rio est\u00e1 trabalhando com um formul\u00e1rio de autentica\u00e7\u00e3o leg\u00edtimo, por meio da recria\u00e7\u00e3o da interface do navegador em uma \u00e1rea exibida sobre a janela atual usando iframe. Se anteriormente os invasores tentavam enganar os usu\u00e1rios registrando dom\u00ednios semelhantes ou manipulando par\u00e2metros na URL, o m\u00e9todo proposto utiliza recursos de HTML e CSS para desenhar elementos que replicam a interface do navegador na parte superior da janela pop-up, incluindo o cabe\u00e7alho com os bot\u00f5es de controle da janela e a barra de endere\u00e7o, que apresenta um endere\u00e7o que n\u00e3o coincide com o real do conte\u00fado.

Considerando que muitos sites utilizam formul\u00e1rios de autentica\u00e7\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s de servi\u00e7os de terceiros que suportam o protocolo OAuth, e que esses formul\u00e1rios s\u00e3o exibidos em uma janela separada, a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma interface falsa do navegador pode confundir at\u00e9 mesmo usu\u00e1rios experientes e atentos. O m\u00e9todo proposto, por exemplo, pode ser aplicado em sites hackeados ou n\u00e3o confi\u00e1veis para coletar dados de senhas de usu\u00e1rios. <\/p>\n

O pesquisador que chamou a aten\u00e7\u00e3o para o problema publicou um conjunto pronto de layouts que simulam a interface do Chrome em temas escuros e claros para macOS e Windows. A janela pop-up \u00e9 formada por meio de um iframe exibido sobre o conte\u00fado. Para aumentar o realismo, manipuladores s\u00e3o vinculados por meio de JavaScript, permitindo mover a janela falsa e clicar nos bot\u00f5es de controle da janela.
