Foi lan\u00e7ado o distro AlmaLinux 9.0, sincronizado com o Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 e contendo todas as mudan\u00e7as propostas nesta linha. O projeto AlmaLinux se tornou a primeira distribui\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica baseada na base de pacotes do RHEL a lan\u00e7ar builds est\u00e1veis com base no RHEL 9. As imagens de instala\u00e7\u00e3o foram preparadas para as arquiteturas x86_64, ARM64, ppc64le e s390x na forma de imagem de inicializa\u00e7\u00e3o (800 MB), imagem m\u00ednima (1.5 GB) e imagem completa (8 GB). Posteriormente, ser\u00e3o criadas builds Live com GNOME, KDE e Xfce, al\u00e9m de imagens para placas Raspberry Pi, cont\u00eaineres e plataformas de nuvem. <\/p>\n

A distribui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 totalmente binariamente compat\u00edvel com o Red Hat Enterprise Linux e pode ser usada como substituto do RHEL 9 e CentOS 9 Stream.
