Os principais componentes do Lustre incluem servidores de meta dados (MDS), servidores de gerenciamento (MGS), servidores de armazenamento de objetos (OSS), armazenamento de objetos (OST, com suporte para funcionamento sobre ext4 e ZFS) e clientes. O c\u00f3digo do projeto \u00e9 distribu\u00eddo sob a licen\u00e7a GPLv2.        <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Lan\u00e7amento do sistema de arquivos em cluster Lustre 2.15\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/623db85e687e964d1e6869e195d7e8f4.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>        <\/p>\n<p>Principais novidades:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Implementado o modo Client Directory Encryption, permitindo a cifragem de nomes de arquivos e diret\u00f3rios do lado do cliente, antes da transfer\u00eancia de dados pela rede e antes de serem salvos nos armazenamentos de objetos (OST) e de meta dados (MDT).\n<li class=\"l\"> Adicionado o mecanismo UDSP (User Defined Selection Policy), que permite aos usu\u00e1rios definir regras para a sele\u00e7\u00e3o de interfaces de rede para a transmiss\u00e3o de dados. Por exemplo, com conex\u00f5es atrav\u00e9s de redes o2ib e tcp, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel configurar o tr\u00e1fego do Lustre para ser transmitido apenas por uma delas, usando a outra para outras
