Gra\u00e7as ao trabalho do desenvolvedor conhecido como dalme, o QEMU no Haiku agora suporta acelera\u00e7\u00e3o de hardware.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto foi direcionado para a transfer\u00eancia do hipervisor NVMM do DragonFlyBSD para o Haiku. Isso permite que o QEMU utilize as extens\u00f5es de virtualiza\u00e7\u00e3o da CPU, como Intel VT-x, o que potencialmente proporciona um desempenho <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/pt\/vps\/\"   title=\"m\u00e1quinas virtuais\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2170\">m\u00e1quinas virtuais<\/a>, pr\u00f3ximo ao nativo.<\/p>\n<p>As principais conquistas do projeto incluem:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transfer\u00eancia do frontend NVMM e do backend VMX para o Haiku<\/li>\n<li>Adi\u00e7\u00e3o de suporte a tabelas de p\u00e1ginas estendidas (EPT) no n\u00facleo do Haiku<\/li>\n<li>Adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do QEMU para trabalhar com NVMM no Haiku<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Embora a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o ainda n\u00e3o esteja conclu\u00edda, os primeiros testes mostram resultados promissores. Sistemas operacionais simples e bootloaders agora podem ser executados com acelera\u00e7\u00e3o de hardware no Haiku. No entanto, sistemas mais complexos, como o pr\u00f3prio Haiku ou o Xubuntu, ainda n\u00e3o funcionam.<\/p>\n<p>O desenvolvedor observa uma melhoria significativa no desempenho em hardware real ap\u00f3s corrigir um erro relacionado ao EPT, embora alguns problemas de estabilidade ainda persistam. O suporte \u00e0 multiprocessamento tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 em desenvolvimento, atualmente o QEMU falha ao ser ativado com SMP.<\/p>\n<p>Este projeto representa um passo importante no desenvolvimento das capacidades de virtualiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Haiku. \u00c0 medida que os problemas remanescentes forem resolvidos, os usu\u00e1rios do Haiku poder\u00e3o esperar um desempenho significativamente
