No web framework Apache Struts, utilizado para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es web em Java com a arquitetura MVC (Model-View-Controller), foi identificada uma vulnerabilidade (CVE-2024-53677). Essa vulnerabilidade permite que um invasor externo grave um arquivo em qualquer lugar do sistema de arquivos do servidor atrav\u00e9s do envio de uma solicita\u00e7\u00e3o HTTP especialmente formatada. O problema afeta as vers\u00f5es de 2.0.0 a 2.3.37, de 2.5.0 a 2.5.33, e de 6.0.0 a 6.3.0.2, manifestando-se em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es que utilizam o componente FileUploadInterceptor para upload de arquivos no servidor. <\/p>\n

A vulnerabilidade \u00e9 causada pela falta de verifica\u00e7\u00e3o adequada dos par\u00e2metros enviados ao carregar arquivos. Com acesso \u00e0s fun\u00e7\u00f5es de upload no web interface implementado em Apache Struts, um atacante pode especificar um valor como «..\\\/..\\\/..\\\/..\\\/..\\\/webapps\\\/ROOT» e conseguir armazenar um arquivo fora do diret\u00f3rio para dados carregados (prot\u00f3tipo do exploit).
