Foi lan\u00e7ado o release da distribui\u00e7\u00e3o especializada Tails 6.17 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), desenvolvida no \u00e2mbito do projeto Tor. A distribui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 baseada na vers\u00e3o Debian 12, vem com o ambiente de trabalho GNOME 43 e foi concebida para acesso an\u00f4nimo \u00e0 rede utilizando as ferramentas do Tor. Todas as conex\u00f5es, exceto o tr\u00e1fego pela rede Tor, s\u00e3o bloqueadas por padr\u00e3o pelo filtro de pacotes. Para o armazenamento dos dados do usu\u00e1rio em modo de persist\u00eancia entre in\u00edcios, aplica-se criptografia. Um arquivo ISO foi preparado para download, capaz de funcionar em modo Live, com um tamanho de 1 GB. <\/p>\n

Na nova vers\u00e3o, foram atualizados o Tor Browser 14.5.4 e a extens\u00e3o uBlock Origin 1.62.0. O tamanho da imagem de inicializa\u00e7\u00e3o foi reduzido gra\u00e7as \u00e0 remo\u00e7\u00e3o de microc\u00f3digos duplicados para CPU. No di\u00e1logo de solicita\u00e7\u00e3o de senha na p\u00e1gina de bloqueio de tela, foi implementada uma op\u00e7\u00e3o para mostrar a senha digitada.
