O acesso an\u00f4nimo no Tails \u00e9 garantido pelo sistema Tor. Todas as conex\u00f5es, exceto o tr\u00e1fego pela rede Tor, s\u00e3o bloqueadas por padr\u00e3o pelo filtro de pacotes. Para armazenar dados do usu\u00e1rio em modo de persist\u00eancia entre as inicializa\u00e7\u00f5es, \u00e9 utilizada criptografia. Um arquivo ISO foi preparado, capaz de funcionar em modo Live, com o tamanho de 2 GB.       <\/p>\n<p>Na nova vers\u00e3o:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A transi\u00e7\u00e3o para a base de pacotes Debian 13 foi realizada.  <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">O ambiente de desktop foi atualizado para o GNOME 48 (anteriormente usava-se o GNOME 43).\n<li class=\"l\"> O tempo de inicializa\u00e7\u00e3o foi reduzido para 10-15 segundos, gra\u00e7as \u00e0 transi\u00e7\u00e3o do algoritmo xz para zstd na compress\u00e3o da imagem do sistema. O custo da acelera\u00e7\u00e3o foi uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o na efici\u00eancia de compress\u00e3o de aproximadamente 10%. Ao mesmo tempo, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a vers\u00e3o Tails 6.x, o tamanho do arquivo ISO dobrou, de 1 para 2 GB, e os requisitos m\u00ednimos de RAM no sistema aumentaram de 2 para 3 GB.\n<li class=\"l\"> Vers\u00f5es de programas foram atualizadas, incluindo o n\u00facleo Linux 6.12.43, Tor Browser 14.5.7, Tor 0.4.8.17, Thunderbird 128.14.0, Electrum 4.5.8, OnionShare 2.6.3, KeePassXC 2.7.10, Kleopatra 4:24.12, Inkscape 1.4, GIMP 3.0.4, Audacity 3.7.3, Text Editor 48.3, Document Scanner 46.0.\n<li class=\"l\"> O emulador de terminal GNOME Terminal foi substitu\u00eddo por GNOME Console, e o visualizador de imagens GNOME Image Viewer por GNOME Loupe.\n<li class=\"l\"> O menu Places foi removido, sendo recomendado o uso de atalhos de acesso r\u00e1pido na barra lateral do gerenciador de arquivos.
