No c\u00f3digo base do n\u00facleo Linux, a partir do qual ser\u00e1 formado o lan\u00e7amento 6.19 no in\u00edcio de fevereiro, foi aceito o c\u00f3digo do subsistema LUO (Live Update Orchestrator), desenvolvido pela empresa Google para atualizar o n\u00facleo em modo Live sem reinicializa\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica. O subsistema \u00e9 baseado no mecanismo KHO (Kexec HandOver), adicionado anteriormente ao n\u00facleo 6.16, que permite a execu\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo n\u00facleo a partir do antigo sem perda de estado do sistema. <\/p>\n

O Live Update Orchestrator permite reiniciar e atualizar completamente o n\u00facleo sem interromper o funcionamento e sem perder o estado do sistema, dos dispositivos e dos processos. Al\u00e9m da funcionalidade do KHO, o subsistema LUO mant\u00e9m o estado dos dispositivos e da mem\u00f3ria RAM, e tamb\u00e9m garante a continuidade das opera\u00e7\u00f5es relacionadas ao DMA e ao processamento de interrup\u00e7\u00f5es.
