Para solicitar um certificado de curto prazo para um dom\u00ednio e um certificado para um endere\u00e7o IP, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que o cliente ACME tenha suporte \u00e0 extens\u00e3o de protocolo que implementa perfis, bem como suporte ao perfil «shortlived». Para confirmar a propriedade de um endere\u00e7o IP, podem ser utilizados apenas os m\u00e9todos http-01 e tls-alpn-01 (o m\u00e9todo dns-01 \u00e9 proibido).
