O projeto \u00e9 orientado \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o em mosaico (tiling) de janelas, mas tamb\u00e9m suporta arranjo livre de janelas, agrupamento de janelas em forma de abas, modo pseudo-mosaico e maximiza\u00e7\u00e3o de janelas em tela cheia. O c\u00f3digo \u00e9 escrito em C++ e \u00e9 distribu\u00eddo sob a licen\u00e7a BSD.    <\/p>\n<p>Oferece recursos para criar interfaces visualmente atraentes: gradientes nas bordas das janelas, desfoque de fundo, efeitos de anima\u00e7\u00e3o e sombras. Para expandir a funcionalidade, podem ser conectados plugins, e para controle externo, h\u00e1 IPC baseado em sockets. A configura\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 feita atrav\u00e9s de um arquivo de configura\u00e7\u00e3o, cujas altera\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o aplicadas em tempo real sem necessidade de rein\u00edcio. Tamb\u00e9m se destacam: desktops virtuais criados dinamicamente; modos de disposi\u00e7\u00e3o de elementos na tela; tratamento global de teclas de atalho; controle por gestos no touchpad\/tela sens\u00edvel ao toque.    <\/p>\n<p>Na nova vers\u00e3o:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Foi fornecida a op\u00e7\u00e3o de usar a linguagem Lua para configurar a \u00e1rea de trabalho Hyprland. A configura\u00e7\u00e3o em Lua \u00e9 definida no arquivo hyprland.lua, e na aus\u00eancia deste, o formato antigo hyprland.conf \u00e9 utilizado.\n<li class=\"l\"> Adicionado o API Layout, que permite definir em arquivos de configura\u00e7\u00e3o disposi\u00e7\u00f5es mosaico personalizadas de janelas, utilizando a linguagem Lua.
