As raz\u00f5es para essa altera\u00e7\u00e3o, incomum para vers\u00f5es intermedi\u00e1rias, incluem reclama\u00e7\u00f5es de usu\u00e1rios sobre um aumento significativo no consumo de mem\u00f3ria ap\u00f3s a migra\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas de trabalho para a ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o 3.14 e o surgimento de vazamentos de mem\u00f3ria.    <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m da revers\u00e3o do novo coletor de lixo na ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o 3.14, decidiu-se n\u00e3o utiliz\u00e1-lo na pr\u00f3xima vers\u00e3o significativa 3.15, que recentemente entrou na fase de testes beta. Vale lembrar que na ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o 3.14 o coletor de lixo c\u00edclico foi substitu\u00eddo por um coletor incremental, no qual o processamento do lixo de objetos de longa dura\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 feito em partes e com menos frequ\u00eancia do que o tratamento de novas gera\u00e7\u00f5es de objetos, que s\u00e3o geralmente liberados com mais frequ\u00eancia, o que permitiu reduzir significativamente o tempo m\u00e1ximo de suspens\u00e3o na execu\u00e7\u00e3o de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es com um grande n\u00famero de objetos em mem\u00f3ria.                      <center><img
