A principal mudan\u00e7a na nova vers\u00e3o foi o suporte \u00e0 ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1vel <strong>Linux 7.0<\/strong>. A vers\u00e3o anterior do OpenZFS 2.4 suportava n\u00facleos Linux apenas at\u00e9 6.19, mantendo a compatibilidade com n\u00facleos mais antigos a partir do Linux 4.18. Para FreeBSD, est\u00e1 declarada a compatibilidade com as vers\u00f5es 13.3 e mais recentes, assim como com a ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o 14.x.<\/p>\n<p>O OpenZFS 2.4.2 inclui um grande conjunto de corre\u00e7\u00f5es que afetam a constru\u00e7\u00e3o, teste, trabalho com initramfs, suporte a POSIX_FADV_DONTNEED, manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de pontos de montagem e c\u00f3digo espec\u00edfico do Linux. Especificamente, foram feitas mudan\u00e7as necess\u00e1rias para a compatibilidade com o Linux 7.0, al\u00e9m das primeiras corre\u00e7\u00f5es para a futura ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o Linux 7.1.<\/p>\n<p>Entre os problemas corrigidos est\u00e3o erros em vdev_rebuild_range(), erros raros de verifica\u00e7\u00e3o de soma ap\u00f3s a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de arrays, corrup\u00e7\u00e3o de dados ap\u00f3s block clone e truncamento subsequente, bloqueio m\u00fatuo durante a montagem autom\u00e1tica de instant\u00e2neos durante zfs recv simult\u00e2neo, vazamentos de mem\u00f3ria e uma s\u00e9rie de problemas no dRAID, incluindo erros depois da reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o, estados degraded e substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de discos.<\/p>\n<p>Na parte do Linux, a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do OpenZFS ao novo modelo de montagem do n\u00facleo foi continuada. Os desenvolvedores removeram o suporte ao antigo API de montagem, adaptaram o c\u00f3digo para fs_context, reformularam a manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de par\u00e2metros de montagem e adicionaram uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o alternativa para n\u00facleos que verificam de forma mais rigorosa as op\u00e7\u00f5es de montagem 'proibidas'. Mudan\u00e7as relacionadas ao LSM, statx, setlease, ACL e a renomea\u00e7\u00e3o de algumas APIs internas do n\u00facleo Linux 7.0 tamb\u00e9m foram implementadas.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneamente, foi lan\u00e7ado <strong>OpenZFS 2.3.7<\/strong> para usu\u00e1rios que permanecem na ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1vel anterior 2.3.
