O libinput \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela detec\u00e7\u00e3o de dispositivos, processamento de eventos e abstra\u00e7\u00e3o de entrada: desde mouses e touchpads at\u00e9 tablets gr\u00e1ficos. O projeto \u00e9 distribu\u00eddo sob a licen\u00e7a MIT.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><noindex><\/p>\n<p>A principal mudan\u00e7a nesta vers\u00e3o \u00e9 <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoronix.com\/news\/libinput-1.31.2-Security-Fix\">a corre\u00e7\u00e3o de uma vulnerabilidade<\/a> no programa auxiliar udev <strong>libinput-device-group<\/strong>. O problema estava relacionado ao fato de que o valor PHYS, obtido do dispositivo, era enviado como uma string KEY=VALUE nas sa\u00eddas do udev sem a devida limpeza de caracteres especiais. Um dispositivo malicioso criado atrav\u00e9s de <strong>uinput<\/strong> ou <strong>uhid<\/strong>, poderia incluir um s\u00edmbolo de nova linha em PHYS, fazendo com que o udev interpretasse a sa\u00edda como duas vari\u00e1veis separadas. Isso poderia resultar na execu\u00e7\u00e3o de c\u00f3digo arbitr\u00e1rio com privil\u00e9gios de root.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>A vulnerabilidade n\u00e3o \u00e9 remota: o atacante precisa de acesso local e da capacidade de criar um dispositivo malicioso de uinput ou uhid. Normalmente, o acesso a essas interfaces \u00e9 restrito ao root, mas o risco se torna mais significativo em sistemas com regras udev mais permissivas. Um exemplo s\u00e3o as configura\u00e7\u00f5es que permitem acesso a usu\u00e1rios comuns para suportar controladores de jogos e Steam Input, por meio de pacotes como <strong>steam-devices<\/strong> ou regras semelhantes.<\/p>\n<p>Importante notar: anteriormente, a vers\u00e3o <strong>libinput 1.31.2<\/strong>, foi mencionada nas not\u00edcias, mas no advisory oficial as vers\u00f5es corrigidas indicadas s\u00e3o <strong>libinput 1.31.3<\/strong> e <strong>1.30.4<\/strong>. As vers\u00f5es afetadas v\u00e3o at\u00e9 <strong>1.31.2<\/strong> e <strong>1.30.3<\/strong> inclusivamente; CVE ainda n\u00e3o havia sido atribu\u00eddo no momento da publica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><\/p>\n<p>Os usu\u00e1rios s\u00e3o recomendados a atualizar o pacote do sistema <strong>libinput<\/strong> por meio do gerenciador de pacotes do seu distribuidor. No Arch Linux, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/archlinux.org\/packages\/extra\/x86_64\/libinput\/\">pacote<\/a> <strong>libinput 1.31.3-1<\/strong> j\u00e1 est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel no
