Foi apresentado o projeto aberto AxonOS, que desenvolve a infraestrutura de software para sistemas com interfaces c\u00e9rebro-computador, destinado a criar uma camada de execu\u00e7\u00e3o determin\u00edstica entre o hardware neural e a IA. O n\u00facleo do AxonOS \u00e9 desenvolvido na linguagem Rust em modo 'no_std', com foco na execu\u00e7\u00e3o em tempo real previs\u00edvel, uma ABI formalizada para chamadas de sistema, um modelo de acesso baseado em capacidades, evitando bloqueios de IPC e monitoramento do tempo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o. O c\u00f3digo-fonte est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel sob as licen\u00e7as MIT ou Apache 2.0. <\/p>\n

O projeto inclui n\u00facleo\/runtime, integra\u00e7\u00e3o BCI, especifica\u00e7\u00f5es arquitet\u00f4nicas, um modelo de autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o baseado no consentimento expl\u00edcito do usu\u00e1rio (consent\/permissions) e ferramentas de an\u00e1lise em tempo real. Atualmente, o OS AxonOS est\u00e1 sendo desenvolvido para processadores ARM Cortex-M e est\u00e1 em fase de verifica\u00e7\u00e3o de opera\u00e7\u00f5es em hardware e verifica\u00e7\u00e3o independente das caracter\u00edsticas em tempo real. A arquitetura do AxonOS considera interfaces c\u00e9rebro-computador como um sistema em m\u00faltiplas camadas: dispositivo c\u00e9rebro-computador \u2192 HAL \u2192 runtime determin\u00edstico \u2192 IPC \u2192 modelo de acesso permissions\/consent \u2192 camada para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es e IA. <\/p>\n

A ideia principal do projeto \u00e9 criar uma camada de execu\u00e7\u00e3o controlada para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es, que funcione entre o dispositivo c\u00e9rebro-computador e a IA, onde os requisitos de determinismo, isolamento, acesso a dados neurais e tempo de resposta s\u00e3o parte da arquitetura do sistema e n\u00e3o uma fun\u00e7\u00e3o da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o. Uma vertente separada do projeto \u00e9 a an\u00e1lise do tempo m\u00e1ximo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o de solicita\u00e7\u00f5es (WCRT, Worst-Case Response Time) para tarefas com prioridades fixas. Para isso, est\u00e1 sendo desenvolvido uma ferramenta independente chamada 'dy-wcet' - um pacote Rust 'no_std' implementado sem o uso de opera\u00e7\u00f5es de ponto flutuante.
