Os representantes da Google divulgaram hoje o relat\u00f3rio anual sobre seguran\u00e7a e privacidade. Observa-se que, apesar do aumento no n\u00famero de downloads de aplicativos potencialmente perigosos, o estado geral do ecossistema Android melhorou.<\/p>\n

A porcentagem de programas perigosos baixados na Google Play em 2017 aumentou de 0,02% para 0,04% no per\u00edodo analisado. Excluindo da estat\u00edstica os casos de fraude com cliques, nota-se uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o significativa no n\u00famero de downloads potencialmente perigosos. O relat\u00f3rio tamb\u00e9m menciona que a empresa enfrenta um grande desafio ao proteger mais de 2 bilh\u00f5es de dispositivos operando com Android. Destaca-se que o sistema de IA Google Play Protect, criado em 2017 e capaz de escanear mais de 50 bilh\u00f5es de aplicativos diariamente, contribuiu significativamente para o processo de aumento da seguran\u00e7a dos usu\u00e1rios. O sistema continuar\u00e1 a ser utilizado, tornando-se uma ferramenta cada vez mais avan\u00e7ada no combate a softwares nocivos. Vale ressaltar a queda geral no n\u00famero de instala\u00e7\u00f5es de aplicativos perigosos. Em 2018, esse \u00edndice era de 0,45% do total, enquanto no ano anterior estava em 0,56%.<\/p>\n

Apesar dos esfor\u00e7os para proteger dispositivos Android, malwares continuam a surgir na Google Play, mudando de editor e nome. N\u00e3o s\u00e3o raros os casos em que um aplicativo perigoso \u00e9 bloqueado apenas ap\u00f3s ser baixado por milh\u00f5es de usu\u00e1rios. Esperamos que no futuro a Google continue a trabalhar ativamente na garantia da seguran\u00e7a dos dispositivos Android.<\/p>\n
