Publicado<\/a><\/noindex> Atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es corretivas para os ramos est\u00e1veis do servidor DNS BIND 9.14.3, 9.11.8 e 9.12.4-P2, bem como para o ramo experimental em desenvolvimento 9.15.1. Ao mesmo tempo, foi anunciado o t\u00e9rmino do suporte para o ramo 9.12, cujas atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o ser\u00e3o mais lan\u00e7adas. <\/p>\n

As atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o not\u00e1veis pela elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de no aplicativo para Windows, que permitia ao usu\u00e1rio elevar seus privil\u00e9gios no sistema para administrador (a vulnerabilidade foi causada pela intera\u00e7\u00e3o inadequada entre o cliente GUI sem privil\u00e9gios e o servi\u00e7o de sistema).<\/a><\/noindex> (CVE-2019-6471<\/a><\/noindex>), que permite causar uma nega\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7o (finaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do processo com assertion REQUIRE). O problema \u00e9 causado por uma condi\u00e7\u00e3o de corrida (race condition) que ocorre ao processar um grande n\u00famero de pacotes de entrada especialmente formatados, que est\u00e3o sujeitos ao filtro de bloqueio. Para explorar a vulnerabilidade, o atacante deve enviar um grande n\u00famero de solicita\u00e7\u00f5es ao resolvedor da v\u00edtima, levando a uma chamada ao servidor DNS do atacante, que retorna respostas incorretas.<\/p>\n
