O tamanho da instala\u00e7\u00e3o <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.project-trident.org\/download\/\">\u00e9 de 2.4 GB (o funcionamento em modo Live \u00e9 suportado).<\/a><\/noindex> 3 GB (AMD64).<\/p>\n<p>No \u00e2mbito do projeto Trident, tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 em desenvolvimento o ambiente gr\u00e1fico Lumina e todas as ferramentas gr\u00e1ficas anteriormente dispon\u00edveis no PC-BSD, como o sysadm e o AppCafe. O projeto Trident foi formado ap\u00f3s a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o do TrueOS em um sistema operacional modular e separado, que pode ser utilizado como plataforma para outros projetos. O TrueOS \u00e9 posicionado como um fork \"downstream\" do FreeBSD, que modifica a composi\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica do FreeBSD com suporte a tecnologias como OpenRC e LibreSSL. Durante o processo de desenvolvimento, o projeto segue um ciclo de seis meses para a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o de lan\u00e7amentos, com atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es em prazos previamente estabelecidos. <\/p>\n<p>Na nova edi\u00e7\u00e3o, houve uma grande atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o das vers\u00f5es de aplicativos nos reposit\u00f3rios e dos componentes do sistema base, que incorporaram mudan\u00e7as da ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o FreeBSD 13-CURRENT e da \u00e1rvore de ports atual. Por exemplo, foram atualizadas as vers\u00f5es do chromium 75, firefox 67.0.4, iridium 2019.04.73, gpu-firmware-kmod g20190620, drm-current-kmod 4.16.g20190519, virtualbox-ose 5.2.30. Muitas configura\u00e7\u00f5es padr\u00e3o oferecidas pelo TrueOS foram alteradas. Foi adicionada uma s\u00e9rie de novos pacotes de sistema \"*-bootstrap\". Os pacotes relacionados ao ZFS On Linux foram renomeados para nozfs e openzfs. Como as mudan\u00e7as afetaram a estrutura dos pacotes do sistema base, antes de iniciar o processo de atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o, deve-se executar o comando \"sudo pkg install -fy sysup\".<\/p>\n<p>Algumas caracter\u00edsticas do Trident:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A presen\u00e7a de um perfil pr\u00e9-definido de firewall para enviar tr\u00e1fego por meio da rede an\u00f4nima Tor, que pode ser ativado na fase de instala\u00e7\u00e3o.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Para navega\u00e7\u00e3o na Web, o navegador <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=48156\">Falkon<\/a><\/noindex> (QupZilla) com bloqueador de an\u00fancios embutido e configura\u00e7\u00f5es avan\u00e7adas para prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra rastreamento.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Por padr\u00e3o, \u00e9 utilizada o sistema de arquivos ZFS e o sistema de inicializa\u00e7\u00e3o OpenRC.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Quando o sistema \u00e9 atualizado, um snapshot separado \u00e9 criado no FS, permitindo retornar instantaneamente ao estado anterior do sistema em caso de problemas ap\u00f3s a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\">  Em vez do OpenSSL, \u00e9 utilizado o LibreSSL do projeto OpenBSD.\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Os pacotes instalados s\u00e3o verificados por assinatura
