Anteriormente, ao usar a vers\u00e3o &#171;-stable&#187;, era poss\u00edvel receber apenas atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es bin\u00e1rias do sistema b\u00e1sico por meio de <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/man.openbsd.org\/syspatch\">syspatch<\/a><\/noindex>. Os pacotes eram compilados uma \u00fanica vez para a ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o de lan\u00e7amento e n\u00e3o eram mais atualizados.<\/p>\n<p>Agora, est\u00e1 previsto o suporte a tr\u00eas ramifica\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> &#171;-release&#187;: rama congelada, cujos pacotes s\u00e3o coletados uma vez para o lan\u00e7amento e n\u00e3o s\u00e3o mais atualizados (6.3, 6.4, 6.5, ...).\n<li class=\"l\"> &#171;-stable&#187;: apenas atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es conservadoras. Os pacotes coletados dos ports s\u00e3o atualizados apenas para a \u00faltima vers\u00e3o (atualmente 6.5).\n<li class=\"l\"> &#171;-current&#187;: ramo principal em desenvolvimento, onde ocorrem as mudan\u00e7as mais significativas. Os pacotes s\u00e3o coletados apenas para o ramo &#171;-current&#187;.\n<\/ul>\n<p>No &#171;-stable&#187;, planeja-se adicionar, principalmente, corre\u00e7\u00f5es de vulnerabilidades para os ports, assim como algumas outras corre\u00e7\u00f5es importantes. As atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es para -stable\/amd64 j\u00e1 est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis na maioria dos espelhos (diret\u00f3rio \/pub\/OpenBSD\/6.5\/packages-stable), e as atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es para i386 est\u00e3o sendo compiladas e tamb\u00e9m estar\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis em breve.
