Na confer\u00eancia CppCon 2019, representantes da Microsoft anunciaram a abertura do c\u00f3digo da biblioteca padr\u00e3o C++ (STL, C++ Standard Library), incorporada ao conjunto de ferramentas MSVC e ao ambiente de desenvolvimento Visual Studio. Esta biblioteca apresenta recursos descritos nos padr\u00f5es C++14 e C++17. Al\u00e9m disso, est\u00e1 se desenvolvendo para suportar o padr\u00e3o C++20. <\/p>\n

A Microsoft abriu o c\u00f3digo da biblioteca sob a licen\u00e7a Apache 2.0, com exce\u00e7\u00f5es para arquivos bin\u00e1rios que resolvem o problema da inclus\u00e3o de bibliotecas em tempo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o nos arquivos execut\u00e1veis gerados. <\/p>\n

Esse passo permitir\u00e1 \u00e0 comunidade utilizar implementa\u00e7\u00f5es prontas de recursos dos novos padr\u00f5es em outros projetos.
