A empresa Google publicou<\/a><\/noindex> o plano de adi\u00e7\u00e3o de novos mecanismos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra downloads inseguros no Chrome. No Chrome 86, com lan\u00e7amento previsto para 26 de outubro, o download de todos os tipos de arquivos atrav\u00e9s de links de p\u00e1ginas abertas por HTTPS ser\u00e1 poss\u00edvel apenas quando os arquivos forem entregues usando o protocolo HTTPS. Observa-se que o download de arquivos sem criptografia pode ser utilizado para realizar atividades maliciosas atrav\u00e9s da manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado durante ataques MITM (por exemplo, malware que afeta roteadores dom\u00e9sticos pode substituir aplicativos baixados ou interceptar documentos confidenciais).<\/p>\n

O bloqueio ser\u00e1 implementado gradualmente, come\u00e7ando com o lan\u00e7amento do Chrome 82, no qual, ao tentar realizar um download inseguro de arquivos execut\u00e1veis atrav\u00e9s de links de p\u00e1ginas HTTPS, uma advert\u00eancia come\u00e7ar\u00e1 a ser exibida.
