Para sistemas de servidores, o novo n\u00facleo foi adicionado como uma op\u00e7\u00e3o no instalador. Utilizar novas compila\u00e7\u00f5es faz sentido apenas para novas instala\u00e7\u00f5es \u2014 sistemas instalados anteriormente podem receber todas as mudan\u00e7as presentes no Ubuntu 18.04.4 atrav\u00e9s do sistema normal de instala\u00e7\u00e3o de atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/p>\n<p>Lembramos que para a entrega de novas vers\u00f5es do n\u00facleo e da pilha gr\u00e1fica <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wiki.ubuntu.com\/Kernel\/RollingLTSEnablementStack\">\u00e9 aplicada<\/a><\/noindex>  modelo rolling de suporte a atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es, de acordo com o qual n\u00facleos e drivers backportados ser\u00e3o suportados apenas at\u00e9 a sa\u00edda da pr\u00f3xima atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o corretiva da ramifica\u00e7\u00e3o LTS do Ubuntu. Por exemplo, o n\u00facleo Linux 5.3 proposto nesta vers\u00e3o ser\u00e1 suportado at\u00e9 o lan\u00e7amento do Ubuntu 18.04.5, que oferecer\u00e1 o n\u00facleo da composi\u00e7\u00e3o do Ubuntu 20.04. O n\u00facleo base fornecido 4.15 ser\u00e1 suportado durante todo o ciclo de acompanhamento. O suporte \u00e0 vers\u00e3o LTS do Ubuntu 18.04 continuar\u00e1 at\u00e9 abril de 2023, ap\u00f3s o qual mais 5 anos <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
