O sistema se destaca pela facilidade de instala\u00e7\u00e3o, possibilidade de expans\u00e3o de funcionalidades atrav\u00e9s de plugins e compatibilidade com a API do GitHub. O c\u00f3digo \u00e9 escrito em Scala e <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/gitbucket\/gitbucket\">dispon\u00edvel<\/a><\/noindex> sob a licen\u00e7a Apache 2.0.
