Dispon\u00edvel<\/a><\/noindex> lan\u00e7amento do pacote Rakudo Star 2020.01<\/a><\/noindex>, incluindo o compilador Rakudo<\/a><\/noindex>, a m\u00e1quina virtual MoarVM<\/a><\/noindex>, documenta\u00e7\u00e3o, m\u00f3dulos e ferramentas necess\u00e1rias para o desenvolvimento na linguagem Raku (novo nome da linguagem Perl 6 ap\u00f3s a renomea\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a><\/noindex>). O compilador atende \u00e0 especifica\u00e7\u00e3o Raku v6.d, exceto pelo suporte a macros avan\u00e7adas, entrada\/sa\u00edda n\u00e3o bloqueante e uma s\u00e9rie de pequenas particularidades que se pretende corrigir em futuras vers\u00f5es. Como m\u00e1quina virtual para executar bytecode, \u00e9 proposta MoarVM<\/a><\/noindex>, que passa em todos os testes (o backend alternativo baseado em JVM ainda n\u00e3o possui toda a funcionalidade necess\u00e1ria). <\/p>\n

Na nova vers\u00e3o, foi adicionado um novo execut\u00e1vel raku, que substituiu o perl6, al\u00e9m de novas op\u00e7\u00f5es nas quais o nome perl foi trocado por raku. Foi realizada uma grande otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o de desempenho em opera\u00e7\u00f5es relacionadas ao processamento de strings (por exemplo, Str.chomp ficou de 10 a 100 vezes mais r\u00e1pido, Str.substr de 1.5 a 3 vezes, e Str.trim* de 1.5 a 90 vezes). Implementados<\/a><\/noindex> muitas novas funcionalidades da linguagem, em desenvolvimento na especifica\u00e7\u00e3o Raku v6.e.<\/p>\n

Em vez de Readline para edi\u00e7\u00e3o interativa de strings, foi proposto o m\u00f3dulo Linenoise<\/a><\/noindex>. O suporte para builds bin\u00e1rios no Windows e macOS foi temporariamente interrompido.<\/p>\n
