O novo lan\u00e7amento do shell <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/PowerShell\/PowerShell\/releases\/tag\/v7.0.0\">est\u00e1 preparado<\/a><\/noindex> n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas para Windows, mas tamb\u00e9m para Linux e macOS.<\/p>\n<p>O PowerShell \u00e9 otimizado para automatizar a execu\u00e7\u00e3o de opera\u00e7\u00f5es na linha de comando e fornece ferramentas integradas para manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de dados estruturados em formatos como JSON, CSV e XML, al\u00e9m de suportar REST API e modelos de objetos. Al\u00e9m do shell, \u00e9 oferecida uma linguagem orientada a objetos para o desenvolvimento de scripts e um conjunto de utilit\u00e1rios para gerenciamento de m\u00f3dulos e scripts. A partir da vers\u00e3o PowerShell 6, o projeto tem se desenvolvido utilizando a plataforma .NET Core.
