O projeto LibreSSL tem foco no suporte de qualidade aos protocolos SSL\/TLS, com a remo\u00e7\u00e3o de funcionalidades desnecess\u00e1rias, adi\u00e7\u00e3o de medidas de prote\u00e7\u00e3o adicionais e uma significativa limpeza e reformula\u00e7\u00e3o da base de c\u00f3digo. O lan\u00e7amento do LibreSSL 3.2.0 \u00e9 considerado experimental, no qual se desenvolvem recursos que far\u00e3o parte do OpenBSD 6.8. <\/p>\n<p>Caracter\u00edsticas do LibreSSL 3.2.0:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Inclu\u00edda por padr\u00e3o a parte do servidor <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49126\">TLS 1.3<\/a><\/noindex> em adi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 parte cliente anteriormente oferecida. A implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do TLS 1.3 \u00e9 baseada em uma nova m\u00e1quina de estados e subsistema de gerenciamento de registros. A API do TLS 1.3 compat\u00edvel com OpenSSL ainda n\u00e3o est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel, mas op\u00e7\u00f5es relacionadas ao TLS 1.3 foram adicionadas \u00e0 equipe do OpenSSL.\n<li class=\"l\"> No subsistema de gerenciamento de registros, a verifica\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho dos campos TLS 1.3 foi aprimorada e uma mensagem de aviso \u00e9 exibida em caso de exceder os limites.\n<li class=\"l\"> No servidor TLS, o tratamento de nomes de host corretos no SNI est\u00e1 em conformidade com os requisitos do RFC 5890 e RFC 6066.\n<li class=\"l\"> Na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do TLS 1.3, foi adicionada suporte ao modo SSL_MODE_AUTO_RETRY para reenvio autom\u00e1tico de mensagens de negocia\u00e7\u00e3o de conex\u00e3o.\n<li class=\"l\"> No servidor e cliente TLS 1.3, foi adicionada suporte ao envio de solicita\u00e7\u00f5es de verifica\u00e7\u00e3o de estado de certificados, utilizando a extens\u00e3o <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/OCSP_stapling\">OCSP stapling<\/a><\/noindex> (a resposta OCSP autenticada pelo centro certificador \u00e9 transmitida pelo servidor que atende o site durante o estabelecimento da conex\u00e3o TLS).\n<li class=\"l\"> No modo de entrada\/sa\u00edda, o modo SSL_MODE_AUTO_RETRY est\u00e1 ativado por padr\u00e3o, assim como nas novas vers\u00f5es do OpenSSL.\n<li class=\"l\"> Testes regressivos foram adicionados com base em  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tomato42\/tlsfuzzer\">tlsfuzzer<\/a><\/noindex>.\n<li
