O novo ramo se destaca pela transi\u00e7\u00e3o para uma base de pacotes <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=51041\">Debian 10 \u00abBuster\u00bb<\/a><\/noindex>. Para download <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/\">foram preparados<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/desktop-live\/\">constru\u00e7\u00f5es Live<\/a><\/noindex> e de instala\u00e7\u00e3o <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/files.devuan.org\/devuan_beowulf\/installer-iso\/\">imagens iso<\/a><\/noindex>  para as arquiteturas AMD64, i386 e <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/arm-files.devuan.org\/\">ARM<\/a><\/noindex> (armel, armhf e arm64). Pacotes espec\u00edficos do Devuan podem ser baixados do reposit\u00f3rio <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/packages.devuan.org\/devuan\/\">packages.devuan.org<\/a><\/noindex>. <\/p>\n<p>No \u00e2mbito do projeto, foram criados forks de cerca de 400 pacotes do Debian, que foram modificados para remover depend\u00eancias do systemd, rebranding ou adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s caracter\u00edsticas da infraestrutura do Devuan. Dois pacotes (devuan-baseconf, jenkins-debian-glue-buildenv-devuan)<br \/>\nexistem apenas no Devuan e est\u00e3o relacionados \u00e0 configura\u00e7\u00e3o de reposit\u00f3rios e funcionamento do sistema de constru\u00e7\u00e3o. No restante, o Devuan \u00e9 totalmente compat\u00edvel com o Debian e pode ser usado como base para criar constru\u00e7\u00f5es especializadas do Debian sem systemd.<\/p>\n<p>O ambiente de desktop padr\u00e3o \u00e9 baseado no Xfce e no gerenciador de exibi\u00e7\u00e3o Slim. Est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis para instala\u00e7\u00e3o opcional KDE, MATE, Cinnamon e LXQt. Em vez do systemd, uma sistema de inicializa\u00e7\u00e3o cl\u00e1ssica \u00e9 fornecida <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/packages.devuan.org\/devuan\/pool\/main\/s\/sysvinit\/\">SysVinit<\/a><\/noindex>. Opcionalmente <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.devuan.org\/dev1fanboy\/Upgrade-Install-Devuan\/wikis\/Devuan-without-dbus\">\u00e9 previsto<\/a><\/noindex> um modo de opera\u00e7\u00e3o sem D-Bus, permitindo a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de configura\u00e7\u00f5es minimalistas de desktop baseadas em gerenciadores de janelas como blackbox, fluxbox, fvwm, fvwm-crystal e openbox. Para configura\u00e7\u00e3o de rede, \u00e9 oferecida uma op\u00e7\u00e3o de configurador do NetworkManager, n\u00e3o vinculada ao systemd. Em vez do systemd-udev, \u00e9 utilizado <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=35619\">eudev<\/a><\/noindex>, um fork do udev do projeto Gentoo. Para gerenciar sess\u00f5es de usu\u00e1rios no KDE, Cinnamon e LXQt, \u00e9 oferecido <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=42079\">elogind<\/a><\/noindex>, uma alternativa ao logind, n\u00e3o vinculada ao systemd. No Xfce e MATE, \u00e9 utilizado <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=40881\">consolekit<\/a><\/noindex>.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" al\u00e9m das plataformas previamente suportadas i386, amd64, armel, armhf e arm64.\n<li class=\"l\"> Foi fornecida a op\u00e7\u00e3o de usar o gerenciador de sistema <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
