A modifica\u00e7\u00e3o P2P adiciona ao cliente a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do servidor e a federa\u00e7\u00e3o sem o uso de DNS centralizado por meio da integra\u00e7\u00e3o <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/libp2p.io\">libp2p<\/a>, que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 usada em <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ipfs.io\">IPFS<\/a>. Esta \u00e9 a primeira vers\u00e3o do cliente que mant\u00e9m a sess\u00e3o ap\u00f3s uma recarga da p\u00e1gina, mas nas pr\u00f3ximas atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es maiores (por exemplo, 0.2.0) os dados ainda ser\u00e3o exclu\u00eddos. Portanto, n\u00e3o \u00e9 recomend\u00e1vel usar o cliente para algo importante.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>O cliente implementa federa\u00e7\u00e3o, cria\u00e7\u00e3o de salas e exibi\u00e7\u00e3o de um cat\u00e1logo global (sem servidor!) de salas.<\/p>\n<p>Nesse contexto, a rede principal Matrix, que usa DNS, e a rede Matrix em libp2p ainda n\u00e3o podem se federar e interagir entre si.<\/p>\n<p>Para usar o cliente, basta clicar no bot\u00e3o de login, ap\u00f3s o qual voc\u00ea receber\u00e1 um ID gerado na rede. A exporta\u00e7\u00e3o de dados ainda n\u00e3o \u00e9 suportada.<\/p>\n<p>Como esta \u00e9 uma apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o inst\u00e1vel de um conceito poss\u00edvel, voc\u00ea pode encontrar dificuldades:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o conseguir\u00e1 acessar sua conta ou interagir com outros clientes se o servidor, executado como Service Worker, for encerrado pelo navegador ap\u00f3s um tempo de espera. Este problema <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bugzilla.mozilla.org\/show_bug.cgi?id=1378587\">foi observado no Firefox<\/a>, que faz isso ap\u00f3s 30 segundos de inatividade].<\/li>\n<li>No n\u00edvel da rede libp2p, existem limita\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o n\u00famero de a\u00e7\u00f5es execut\u00e1veis ao longo do tempo, o que pode causar problemas de federa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>O in\u00edcio do trabalho na vers\u00e3o P2P do Matrix \u00e9 motivado pelo desejo dos desenvolvedores de dar mais liberdade aos seus usu\u00e1rios. A desvincula\u00e7\u00e3o do servidor central facilita a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o dentro de redes locais e mesh, especialmente em situa\u00e7\u00f5es onde o acesso \u00e0 rede externa \u00e9 limitado ou ausente. No final, isso leva a uma reflex\u00e3o sobre o refatoramento dos conceitos atuais do Matrix para alcan\u00e7ar maior portabilidade e seguran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>A implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da API do servidor \u00e9 alcan\u00e7ada por meio da compila\u00e7\u00e3o do servidor <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/matrix-org\/dendrite\">Dendrite<\/a> no c\u00f3digo WebAssembly, que \u00e9 executado simultaneamente com o cliente na forma de um Service Worker, utilizando o IndexedDB e SQLite para armazenar dados localmente, no caso da vers\u00e3o web e do wrapper Electron.<br \/>\nDendrite \u00e9 um \"servidor de segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o\" Matrix em desenvolvimento, escrito em Go, voltado para total modularidade, que tamb\u00e9m pode ser usado em forma monol\u00edtica. Na forma modular, para a intera\u00e7\u00e3o dos microsservi\u00e7os \u00e9 utilizado o Apache Kafka, enquanto na forma monol\u00edtica \u2014 <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/matrix-org\/naffka\">Naffka<\/a>. A documenta\u00e7\u00e3o para a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da vers\u00e3o P2P do Dendrite pode ser encontrada <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/matrix-org\/dendrite\/blob\/master\/docs\/p2p.md\">no GitHub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><\/p>\n<p>O Dendrite foi inicialmente concebido como um servidor de uso geral, que deveria ser uma substitui\u00e7\u00e3o direta <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/matrix-org\/synapse\">Synapse<\/a>, escrito em Python, que enfrenta problemas de desempenho e escalabilidade. Mas devido \u00e0 necessidade de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e reforma significativa do Synapse, o desenvolvimento do Dendrite foi colocado em segundo plano.
