Para garantir a integridade do hist\u00f3rico e a resist\u00eancia a altera\u00e7\u00f5es 'retroativas', \u00e9 utilizado o hash impl\u00edcito de todo o hist\u00f3rico anterior em cada commit, tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 poss\u00edvel validar digitalmente as assinaturas dos desenvolvedores em tags e commits individuais. <\/p>\n<p>Comparado \u00e0 vers\u00e3o anterior, a nova vers\u00e3o aceita 317 altera\u00e7\u00f5es, preparadas com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 58 desenvolvedores, dos quais 13 contribu\u00edram pela primeira vez no desenvolvimento. Principais  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.blog\/2020-07-27-highlights-from-git-2-28\/\">novidades<\/a><\/noindex>:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Foi adicionada a configura\u00e7\u00e3o init.defaultBranch, permitindo escolher um nome arbitr\u00e1rio para o ramo principal, que ser\u00e1 aplicado por padr\u00e3o. No Git, como antes, ao executar o comando &#171;git init&#187;, o ramo &#171;master&#187; ainda \u00e9 criado por padr\u00e3o, mas esse nome agora pode ser alterado. Por exemplo, para mudar o nome do ramo inicial para &#171;main&#187;, pode-se usar o comando:\n<p>   git config &#8212;global init.defaultBranch main<\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Foram adicionadas otimiza\u00e7\u00f5es de desempenho baseadas na nova estrutura de formato de arquivo commit-graph, utilizada para otimizar o acesso \u00e0s informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre commits, suporte  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ru.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D0%A4%D0%B8%D0%BB%D1%8C%D1%82%D1%80_%D0%91%D0%BB%D1%83%D0%BC%D0%B0\">cascata.<\/a><\/noindex>, uma estrutura probabil\u00edstica que permite a falsa defini\u00e7\u00e3o de um elemento ausente, mas exclui a omiss\u00e3o de um elemento existente.
