In the new version, the Clang compiler, used for building packages, has been updated to LLVM 9.0 branch. In addition to the standard Linux kernel compiled in GCC (package 'kernel-release'), a variant of the kernel compiled in Clang ('kernel-release-clang') has been added. Clang is already used as the default compiler in OpenMandriva, but until now the kernel had to be built in GCC. Now, all components can be built using only Clang. New versions of Linux kernel 5.4, Glibc 2.30, Qt 5.14.0, KDE Frameworks 5.65, KDE Plasma 5.17.4, KDE Applications 19.12 have been utilized. The number of available desktop environments for installation has been expanded. Zypper has been proposed as an alternative package manager.
