In this release:
- new driver management interface;
- (experimental) support for suspend/resume;
- new audio interface;
- support for 4K resolution displays;
- ability for remote debugging.
In brief about the project:
- support for multiple microkernels;
- free (GPL) source code;
- configuration of everything in XML;
- incredibly detailed and constantly updated documentation, presented in the form of books: https://genode.org/documentation/index;
- most of the code is written in C++;
