Proiectul ofer\u0103 un server de comunica\u021bie, integrabil cu sisteme de publicare web, dotat cu un sistem transparent de identificare \u0219i unelte de gestionare a accesului \u00een re\u021belele descentralizate Fediverse. Codul proiectului este scris \u00een PHP \u0219i JavaScript \u0219i este distribuit sub licen\u021ba MIT, sus\u021bin\u00e2nd baze de date precum MySQL \u0219i fork-urile sale, precum \u0219i PostgreSQL.    <\/p>\n<p>Hubzilla dispune de un sistem unic de autentificare pentru a func\u021biona ca o re\u021bea social\u0103, forumuri, grupuri de discu\u021bii, Wiki, sisteme de publicare a articolelor \u0219i site-uri web. Interac\u021biunea federal\u0103 se realizeaz\u0103 pe baza propriului protocol Zot, care implementeaz\u0103 conceptul WebMTA pentru transferul de con\u021binut prin WWW \u00een re\u021bele descentralizate \u0219i ofer\u0103 o serie de func\u021bii unice, \u00een special autentificarea transparent\u0103 de tip &#171;Identitate Nomadic\u0103&#187; \u00een interiorul re\u021belei Zot, precum \u0219i func\u021bia de clonare pentru a asigura puncte de intrare \u0219i seturi de date utilizator identice pe diverse noduri ale re\u021belei.
