Driverul suport\u0103 citirea \u0219i scrierea datelor \u00een parti\u021biile NTFS \u0219i poate func\u021biona pe o gam\u0103 larg\u0103 de sisteme de operare care suport\u0103 FUSE, inclusiv Linux, Android, macOS, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, QNX \u0219i Haiku. Lansarea este notabil\u0103 pentru corectarea a 21 de vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bi. Aceste vulnerabilit\u0103\u021bi sunt cauzate de dep\u0103\u0219iri de buffer la procesarea diferitelor metadate \u0219i permit executarea de cod la montarea unei imagini NTFS special concepute (de asemenea, atacul poate fi efectuat prin conectarea unui suport extern nesigur).
