Utiliz\u00e2nd aceast\u0103 optimizare, viteza wc a crescut de 5 ori.\n<li class=\"l\"> Utilitarul cksum a fost actualizat cu op\u021biunea &#171;-a&#187; (&#8212;algorithm) pentru a alege algoritmul de hash. Pentru a accelera calculul sumelor de control, utilitarul cksum folose\u0219te instruc\u021biuni pclmul \u00een modul &#171;&#8212;algorithm=crc&#187;, permi\u021b\u00e2nd accelerarea calculului de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 8 ori. Pe sistemele care nu suport\u0103 pclmul, modul crc este accelerat de 4 ori. Alte algoritmi de hash (sum, md5sum, b2sum, sha*sum, sm3 etc.) sunt implementa\u021bi prin apelarea func\u021biilor libcrypto.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen utilitarele md5sum, cksum, sha*sum \u0219i b2sum, utilizarea flag-ului &#171;&#8212;check&#187; permite prezen\u021ba unei secven\u021be CRLF la sf\u00e2r\u0219itul liniei cu suma de control. \u00cen &#171;cksum &#8212;check&#187; se asigur\u0103 determinarea automat\u0103 a algoritmului de hash folosit.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen utilitarul ls a fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 op\u021biunea &#171;&#8212;sort=width&#187; pentru a sorta dup\u0103 lungimea numelui fi\u0219ierului, precum \u0219i op\u021biunea &#171;&#8212;zero&#187; pentru a \u00eencheia fiecare linie cu un caracter nul. S-a revenit la comportamentul vechi, care duce la afi\u0219area unui director gol \u00een loc de o eroare \u00een cazul proces\u0103rii unui director \u0219ters.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen utilitarul df a fost implementat\u0103 detectarea sistemelor de fi\u0219iere de re\u021bea acfs, coda, fhgfs, gpfs, ibrix, ocfs2 \u0219i vxfs.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00cen utilitarele stat \u0219i tail s-a ad\u0103ugat suport pentru tipurile de FS &#171;devmem&#187;, &#171;exfat&#187;, &#171;secretmem&#187;, &#171;vboxsf&#187; \u0219i &#171;zonefs&#187;. Pentru &#171;vboxsf&#187; pentru urm\u0103rirea modific\u0103rilor \u00een &#171;tail -f&#187; se folose\u0219te polling, iar pentru celelalte \u2014 inotify.  <\/ul>\n<p>Sursa: <a
