Noua ramur\u0103 este notabil\u0103 pentru trecerea la baza de pachete Debian 11 \u00abBullseye\u00bb. Au fost preg\u0103tite imagini Live \u0219i ISO de instalare pentru arhitecturile AMD64, i386, armel, armhf, arm64 \u0219i ppc64el.       <\/p>\n<p>\u00cen cadrul proiectului, au fost create ramuri pentru aproximativ 400 de pachete Debian, care au fost modificate pentru a elimina dependen\u021bele de systemd, rebranding sau adaptare pentru specificul infrastructurii Devuan. Dou\u0103 pachete (devuan-baseconf, jenkins-debian-glue-buildenv-devuan) sunt disponibile doar \u00een Devuan \u0219i sunt legate de configurarea repozitoriilor \u0219i func\u021bionarea sistemului de construire. \u00cen rest, Devuan este complet compatibil cu Debian \u0219i poate fi utilizat ca baz\u0103 pentru crearea unor construc\u021bii specializate Debian f\u0103r\u0103 systemd. Op\u021biuni de instalare sunt disponibile pentru KDE, MATE, Cinnamon, LXQt \u0219i LXDE. \u00cen loc de systemd, este furnizat\u0103 o sistem de ini\u021bializare clasic, SysVinit, precum \u0219i op\u021bional sistemele openrc \u0219i runit. Exist\u0103 posibilitatea de a lucra f\u0103r\u0103 D-Bus, ceea ce permite crearea unor configura\u021bii minimaliste ale desktopului bazate pe managerii de feronier\u0103 blackbox, fluxbox, fvwm, fvwm-crystal \u0219i openbox. Pentru configurarea re\u021belei, este oferit un configurator NetworkManager, nu legat de systemd. \u00cen loc de systemd-udev, este utilizat eudev, un fork al udev din proiectul Gentoo. Pentru gestionarea sesiunilor utilizatorului \u00een Xfce \u0219i MATE se utilizeaz\u0103 consolekit, iar \u00een celelalte desktopuri se folose\u0219te elogind, o variant\u0103 a logind, care nu este legat\u0103 de systemd.     <\/p>\n<p>Schimb\u0103rile specifice pentru Devuan 4:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> S-a realizat trecerea la baza de pachete Debian 11 (pachetele sunt sincronizate cu Debian 11.1) \u0219i kernelul Linux 5.10.\n<li class=\"l\"> Este oferit\u0103 op\u021biunea de a utiliza sistemele de ini\u021bializare sysvinit, runit \u0219i OpenRC.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost ad\u0103ugat\u0103 o nou\u0103 tem\u0103 de design pentru ecranul de \u00eenc\u0103rcare, managerul de autentificare \u0219i desktop.\n<li class=\"l\"> A fost implementat\u0103 suportul pentru managerii de ecran gdm3 \u0219i sddm, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 Slim.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ofer\u0103 op\u021biunea de a utiliza f\u0103r\u0103 systemd toate mediile utilizator disponibile \u00een Debian.
